The Singer

Anindita Bhaumik is a talented vocalist with a God gifted melodious voice. Any person listening to songs rendered by her becomes more or less enchanted by such voice and inimitable manner of her presentation of the same.

Anindita is the daughter of late Mr. Arun Kanti Bhunia (Bhaumik) and late Mrs. Kabita Bhaumik. She began singing at age six under her mother's guidance. Her first music Guru was "Srimat Shankarananda Maharaj". She was trained by late Biman Mukhopadhyay, late Dwijen Mukhopadhyay, Pandit Arun Bhaduri, Smt. Indrani Sen, Srabani Sen and others.

Music is her passion and by profession, she is a computer Engineer – IT professional. Currently she is residing in Massachusetts, United States of America and working as Senior Executive in one of the best IT companies in world.
Her father, late Mr. Arun Kanti Bhunia was a District Judge and was attached to as Judge, West Bengal Pollution Control Board, Govt. of West Bengal till his last breath. Many of his judgements and orders in civil and criminal cases were published in several newspapers during his judicial career and those were highly appreciated in all quarters.

Her mother late Mrs. Kabita Bhaumik since deceased was a teacher. Besides being a teacher, she made earnest endeavour in the matter relating to spread of female education in the Part of the district and actually put forth her energies and untiring efforts for the same by way of enabling Anindita's grand father late Dr. Satyendra Nath Bhunia (Bhaumik) founder secretary of Mahishadal Girls' College for establishment of the institution in the aforesaid area.

Anindita followed the path as shown by her grand father and parents.
Anindita has won countless prizes in Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Sangeet and Adhunik song. Multiple music albums of Anindita had been released from Sagarika Music Company, Cozmik Harmony etc. She got high appreciations from many eminent artists. Her music album review had been also published in different news papers and social media with high appreciation.

She had completed her M-Mus in Rabindra Sangeet and Classical Vocal and she had also received Visharad degree in Kathak Dance from Chandigarh Gharana.

She stood 1st class 1st in Kathak Dance and honoured to receive prize from respected Virendra Krishna Bhadra at Rathindra Mancha Of Jorasanko Thakurbari.

The Academician

Regarding her educational qualification, she is M-Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (Rank holder, 1 st class 1st – gold medalist) and currently she is working as Senior Executive in Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., USA. She is a brilliant student of Calcutta University and Indian Statistical Institute and also won high appreciation from different scientists of ISI. Above all she is loved and respected by one and all for her pleasing manners, sweet behaviour and amiable disposition.
